Showcase

To celebrate Black History Month and last week's Black Lives Matter Week of Action we had a school-wide assembly on Thursday, February 9 celebrating the contributions of the past and the advocacy required for a better future. Our showcase featured student poetry, performances by our band and drumline, a skit from our Drama RITs celebrating Black activism in US history and a performance by our 8th Grade Freedom Choir in partnership with the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music.
