School Tours Fall 2025
We are so glad you’re interested in choosing Middle School 50 for your student. We are proud to be a Community School with more than 100 years in Los Sures, the Southside of Williamsburg.
Our Fall 2025 tour dates are:
Tuesday, October 14: 5:00-6:30PM (virtual option available)
Wednesday, October 22: 9:30-10:30AM
Wednesday, November 12: 5:00-6:30PM (virtual option available)
Tuesday, November 18: 9:00-10:30AM
Saturday, December 6: 9:00-10:30AM (takes place during D14 Elementary Debate tournament)

How to apply
MS 50 (also called John D. Wells on MySchools) offers applicants the choice between our traditional programing, with priority given to students living in District 14 then those in Brooklyn as a whole, and our borough-wide Spanish Dual Language Program.
To apply to MS 50, visit our page on MySchools and add us to your child’s middle school application. The middle school application will open on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 and will close on Friday, December 12, 2025. For complete information on how and when to apply, visit the Department of Education’s page which will have the most up-to-date information.
