MS 50 is excited to welcome ¡Repertorio Contigo! and their presentation of the play "La Gringa" on April 4! The New York Times writes that "La gringa is the story of a young woman from New York who goes to Puerto Rico in search of her extended family. When she finds them, the complicated misperceptions that develop on all sides unfold in comic dialogue that arouses constant shouts of laughter and bursts of applause." This Spanish language play is performed with English supertitles, making it fun for our whole community.
There will be a student performance for our theatre, dual language, and BSE classes at 1:00PM and a FREE performance for our families at 6:00PM. We want to thank our New York City Council Member Jennifer Gutiérrez and the Cultural Immigrant Initiative for generously sponsoring this performance! We hope to see you there!
