Back to School 2022
We are so excited to welcome everyone back to the building at MS 50 this fall! We have been busy all summer preparing the building for a safe and welcoming environment for all of you. Check out some highlights for what you need to know below!
New families, we are hosting a New Family Orientation on Wednesday, August 31 at 5:00PM. Sign up and get more information at our New Families page.
School Day
School Start: 8:20am
School End: 2:40pm
Beginning in October, our schedule will also include Expanded Learning Time from 2:40pm-4:00pm on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

One multi-subject 3-ringed binder
One pack of pocket folders
Five marble notebooks
Pens and Pencils
One pair of headphones

Uniforms
We believe that school uniforms increase school pride, create unity and demonstrate respect for our community. School uniforms must be worn every day.
Top: Uniform polo, t-shirt or hoodie. The uniform top color for all grades is royal blue. Plain royal blue collared shirts are also acceptable for uniform tops.
Pants: Khaki or black pants or shorts (not provided). No jeans or leggings are allowed. On gym days only, students will be allowed to wear sweatpants or athletic shorts to school.
Returning families can purchase new uniforms online or at school. Email our Parent Coordinator, Edda Figueroa, with questions or to arrange a time to pick up your uniform. New students will receive a free uniform package which they can pick up beginning the week of August 29th from 9am-3pm.
