Students from MS 50 joined El Puente's "Madre Tierra" to welcome Little Amal to Williamsburg. Little Amal is a giant puppet of a ten-year-old Syrian refugee girl created to “represent all children fleeing war, violence and persecution and each with their own story. Little Amal’s urgent message to the world is ‘Don’t forget about us’.”
